My daughter and I set up some old sawhorses and plywood for a work table in front of the windows at her lake house. This is the apartment over a 3-car garage.

We put another table over near my pegboard wall easel to use as a taboret and I brought an old barstool from home. There are 6 windows on the wall and lots of light.

We put up a 4 x 8 ft piece of pegboard for an easel over the French doors to a former kitchen space. There are several ceiling fans and track lighting in the ceiling. There is so much light from the windows that I can't get good pictures for the backlight. The walls are actually a mottled yellow ochre.

You can see the lake through the trees from the "treehouse" studio.
Wonderful areas to relax between painting sessions or have lunch......or just relax with the breeze and looking out over the lake.

There are two big porches wrapping around the back and looking out over the lake. I am so fortunate to have this place to go and re-group and think about my work.
