Welcome to Dragonfly  Studio  (note: Some of you may remember this past winter when I spoke of 'the plow taketh and the plow giveth'. ) This is our newly painted mailbox with our drive on the left and my car at the end by Jim's woodworking shop.

Looking into my studio from the hall. It is only 14 feet long but does have nice track lighting.

A view of the 9 foot width.  The far end is my fiber area.  Jim, my partner and cabinet maker extraordinaire, has done all the built-ins.  The
sewing counter height was measured exactly for me.  It only goes to within 2 inches of the back wall so fabric can drape down behind it.  The blank area above it is where I usually hang fiber pieces to stare at them.
The desk (all that paper under my drawing board) is perpetually covered. I do keep meaning to clean it up and sometimes actually make new straighter
piles.  The desk/board combo is an old IBM drafting table with attached desk.  The board (5 feet wide) easilychanges angles and heights with simple levers.

A view from my perspective because I am usually sitting/working at the drawing board.  This shot shows the piece I am currently painting with my
usual set-up.

ahhhh the skylight.  It is situated directly above my work area.   Besides letting in lots of light it can also be opened to let out the heat.
SusanImage6.jpg (26883 bytes) The cabinets along one wall to the left of my table (on the right in the shot looking into the studio).  Never enough space.

Looking into the old TV room (9' by 9'), now Art supplies storage room.

Jim built me some flat  paper storage above the cedar closet he designed for my fiber wallhangings.

Obviously me, slaving away on a new piece.

And finally, the wonderful view out back which is
continually changing and beautiful.
